Ask me what my favourite book is and – as if I were talking about a lover – I’ll say I just haven’t found it yet. Nonetheless, I’ve read a lot of stuff in my lifetime that have made a lasting impact on my thoughts and just generally who I am as a person. So with that, I thought I’d introduce a new list series called Required Reading – compilations of some of the best poems, essays, short stories and novels that I deeply appreciate and/or identify with. I thought I’d compile them by “vibe” lol, so this post’s theme is affection.
A weekly roundup of all the best fashion/beauty/film/literature/life I’ve encountered over the last seven days! In this week’s Seven Things: Diet Prada, Wong Kar Wai, and lip gloss necklaces.

Another brand that I came across today and is going straight to my lust list is Vanina. Look at that gorgeousness.

I wrote a post about secondhand shopping recently, in which I mentioned how scouring thrift shops and online marketplaces for preloved designer items has been a recent obsession of mine. SO this, my friends, is my way of obtaining beautiful pieces from designers I love but couldn’t otherwise afford!

Out of the three years we’ve been together, about half of that time was through long distance. I remember being familiar with the concept of a “long distance relationship” even as a child, even when I wouldn’t have fully understood what it meant and constituted of, even though it would be a long time after that before I fully understood what it meant and constituted of.
